So Join is Harem route, i'll update that.
Also noted a couple of the lesbian path choices.
I don't know if that is the one, will get screenshots soon. There are also two choices about the remnants joining where the MC can be "enthusiastic" or "ambivalent" but there is a note before the first of those two and they are very obvious so I didn't complain about them.
I see you added a note that this is for the lesbian path but this still does not indicate the choice is crucial to the harem path.

But this is the choice I was talking about...if you do not pursue the lesbian path there is no harem path. When I was playing the game the first time I was trying to guess if them being together would lock or enable the harem path.

i think this game is being overrated a bit....story is good, but sex scenes....the few we get are so dull....2 thrust and all is done, no different isual point, no orgasm, MC last 1 minute max...and...the scene with zoey and lune was laughable....2 hot girls and so short lived...bah

I largely agree. I don't so much mind sex scene length but the near complete lack of animations, low overall quality, very few dialogue choices have much impact...maybe something like 10 choices total determine if you end up in a relationship with 1, 2, or 4 girls. Plus no stats, no side content, etc. And to top it all off the game being priced at $20 on steam is ridiculous. there are many far longer and far better games priced at $15 or even $10. This game should not cost more than $10 at most. Now it might seem a bit out of place for me to complain about price here, where I did not buy this game. But I buy games that are good to support the developers after trying them here. So yes, this is my legitimate feedback and I would have bought this game if I thought is was worth it. Hell I have bought a couple shorter games that have had far better quality. But for these types of VN games I feel like I have to gauge their progress and quality here because too many are terrible and some of the good ones are stuck in eternal development with no end in the foreseeable future and end up in perpetual early access or abandoned though this developer at least has a decent release timeline and seems like he will finish what he started.

I think it depends what you look for in the sex scenes. I very much like the sex scenes for the most part. As they feel passionate full of romance like they are actually making love. I like that alot makes the romance even better to me which is one this is one of my favorite romance games. So to me that makes the sex scenes stand out compared to most AVN's. but if you are looking for raw sex for something to fap too then yeah I agree I don't think they were made with the intention to jerk off.

NGL, it sounds like this game might not be for you? I disagree that the game is overpriced given the quality of art and length of the game. There are definitely things I want to do better in the future, including adding more and better non-lewd and lewd animations, but this game has always been pretty upfront about being a story and romance first VN. If you're looking for tons of lewd scenes or mini games or something, then you're at the wrong place. I'm curious what you mean by "quality" - is it art, quantity of lewds, etc?

I've noticed it's very common for some people to see AVNs as straight porn and only porn, instead of stories with adult situations. I beleive there need to be sub categories, one for story heavy adult novels, with some sex scenes, and another for a negilgible plot, lewd heavy games. But surprisingly there seems to be a lot of opposition to that idea lol.

I kinda doubt it, the tag system is useless. I also think we need 2 tag categories, something along the lines of main themes, and incidental or something. The example I always use is, say someone is looking for a femdon game. If you go by the tag system you're going to happen on a TON of games, most of which are not femdom, and just include a scene which earns the tag. but if you had those 2 categories, you could search main themes and find what you are looking for instea of hundreds of games that only have a single scene.

I think it depends on the tag, though. For example, multiple endings shouldn't ever be incidental: either there is more than one ending, or there is not. I ofc can see someone abusing that when a game has several game-over scenarios, but that would be on the mods for allowing something that realistically shouldn't apply. (If you die of wounds in a Resident Evil game, obviously nobody considers that one of the game's endings.)
I think story rich would be another tag that can't be incidental. Either the game focuses on story or it doesn't. There would need to be an arbitrarily assigned cut-off point, like a certain % of the game is story without other content or whatever. But I don't see wiggle room in a tag like this. That's why I think Price of Power having something like that applied to it would set up proper expectations for the VN before someone starts playing it.
Off the top of my head, I can think of two primary scenarios where tags tend to become more problematic. The first is what you've pointed out: there's a single occurrence of content and therefore the tag gets added. (Not literally, b/c obviously it could be 2 or 3 times or something.) That is where the categories you talk about would come in. Something like femdom (focus) and femdom (instance) would definitely clarify that. The second would be incorrect interpretation of tags, which is a whole other problem and discussion I won't get into here.
Despite all of the above, though, Pandaman has been very clear that the principle focus of this game is story, with romance and some sex included. This is not a porn VN; this is a VN that happens to have some lewd content. Even if you take the sterility point itself, it's very easy to talk about that and show characters stepping out of tents after having had sex — all without showing any adult content. The plot of the story would be unaffected by an absence of lewd scenes. This just happens to have them because the dev decided to include them. All of this has been plain for the longest time; folks just need to learn to read the Developer Notes on the OP and/or search the thread.

I agree on most of your points, though i still think 2 tag categories would be easier to navigate, especially if they had different lists, as you stated some tags like story rich wouldn't be in the incidental field. It would just be an ease of use situation.
I agree the dev has been very clear, and to be honest as much as I enjoy lewd scenes in an avn this is on eof the rare ones where their absence wouldn't take away from the game. I really love the

No, I am not necessarily looking for just sex or purely more sex. What I mean by quality I mean the overall package including the story and writing as well as some engagement with the story. But of all the VNs I played this has the least engagement. Not much meaningful interaction and not much consequence...no relationship points, not much action or combat and what is there is short, character attributes and stats are meaningless with maybe a line or two of dialogue difference, etc. Epilogue 1 is probably the best example of all this...nothing happens. They just hang out and talk about nothing for a bit...if you're on the harem path you get a sex scene but outside of that there is nothing. MC goes mapping and finds literally nothing of interest. Basically all of it is a bunch of small talk about nothing. At the end of the day it's about whether I as the player feel glad I played the game or feel like it's worth playing it again to experience it. And that is mostly no. I did a sort of 2nd playthrough because I messed up a choice the firs time but that was done inside of 10 minutes with full skip through and even the difference between trouplete path and harem path was shockingly small.

I guess we just have fundamentally different expectations about a story-based romance VN. Sorry it's not for you! I disagree with basically everything you said, but different strokes for different folks and all that.
