| Pfft! Of course Megumi faces literally the only character less intimidating than her. Time for Soma's team to win again and setup the climactic final round. Just hope it doesn't take too long but who am I kidding on that front right? |

| Oh, Momo is so cute :S But poor Tadokiro, tho, feels bad that everybody is underestimating her. I hope that she can show what she got and that Shinomiya teached her something amazing. I'm sure things will get pretty emotional during this Shokugeki. |

| The match ups really don't make sense if you think about it. It should really be Yukihira vs Eizan, Tadokoro vs Saitou, and Takumi vs Momo. This would be the match ups that would make the most sense and would really show where the three first years are at. Yukihira vs Eizan because they are the most balanced of the two, and their cooking styles, and flavor profiles are almost the same. Tadokoro vs Saitou because Tadokoro has a background in a seafood restaurant, she probably has experience with Sushi as well, and at this point, she probably is more knowledgable and more skilled than Kurokiba in regards to seafood thanks to Joichriou and Gin's teachings. Takumi vs Momo because Takumi was the only one shown to be able to actually make a dessert. I doubt Tadokoro is much of a Patassiere since her background is seafood. If the bout is dessert, then Tadokoro won't even be much of a challenge. Also I don't understand why the author chose Shinomiya to teach Tadokoro, it should easily be Hinako. They haven't given Hinako a cuisine yet, they could have given her baking. |

| Eizan vs Takumi is great, after all Eizan was the one who sent out Subaru at the elections. For Takumi's sake he better solo Eizan. The other 2 can win thanks to teamwork (there's no way Soma can take on Saitou by himself). |

| reiwa weebs will unironically tell u they want a remake or sequel but when they get it ,its suddenly souless and a cashgrab cause they dont like the thing anymore and cant fathom they grew out of it and must mean the show somehow became bad |

| in this 3rd bout, I see a crushing defeat for Momo Senpai as she underestimate all of them, and also a crushing defeat for Saitou Soumei. and for Takumi, I don't know. either draw or he loses. but who knows, maybe he improved since last time. |
| I thought the chapter was interesting but I wished for more to happen y'know. I feel like that the Rebels nor Central will have a TOTAL win. I think Soma will win cuz he's Soma no explanation needed. Megumi will be a interesting one since we learn that she received training but like Momo was 4th chair originally and now 3rd chair. Takumi better show character development though! He's an undecided in my opinion since I don't know much about Eizan. |

| Weird. I'd love to see a whole chapter of Megumi regurgitating her past trauma and feel like abandoning the tournament and Shinomiya threatening her beyond crime to do so. And by that, somehow, Megumi will gain a new resolve to not lose with a new persona like Kurokiba XD. |

| Interesting, but I can't see both Takumi and Megumi losing, and story would favor Megumi winning.. I'd guess: Souma > Saito. Takumi < Eizan. Megumi > Akanegakubo. Then Isshiki vs Tsukasa, Erina vs Kobayashi, and Soma vs Eizan, with team rebels wining the latter two matches, though Isshiki might take a point. Soma, Erina, and Megumi vs Tsukasa would be a neat way to end it, makes sense to me because there's no legitimate way Soma is winning 1v1. (Which I think is the entire purpose of their unofficial match.) |
| I do feel the match-up kinds of readable at this point... Also Takumi can have revenge against Eizan too cuz' Eizan fails Takumi to meet Yukihira in the semifinal of the Autumn Election. Though I have a feeling Yukihira will win against Soumei, but idk about the other two... Maybe Megumi will win cuz' we can see Momo underestimate the rebels in this chapter, maybe something unexpected will happens from the unexpected one like Megumi? lol. |
